Italy 2009 Ciao - Chapter 6

I have a few more photos I'd like to share from my Amalfi Coast trip in 2009.

Our bus dropped us in the village at the top of the hill and we walked through colorful shops and restaurants on our way to the boat.

The Amalfi Coast is dotted with picturesque villages.

We made stops along the coast. In one of the villages we learned about limoncello.

This was my hotel for five nights in Vietri-Sul-Mare, Loyds Baia Hotel. The view was spectacular. The village is famous for its ceramics.

After several days I decided that every day is laundry day in Italy.

We visited Vannulo and got up close and personal with the water buffalo.

You can't find mozzarella any fresher than this!

Vannulo also had a gelato shop. The lemon gelato is to die for!

We were treated to lunch at a winery near Mount Vesuvius. Here our tour guide is interpreting for our host and owner of the winery. The business has been in his family for generations.
