The City of Brotherly Love

With the holidays, a viral respiratory infection and the uncomfortable winter weather I have had little opportunity for taking photographs. I decided to share my old pictures from a 2009 trip to Philadelphia.

Chinatown - Philadelphia

Independence Hall

The Liberty Bell

Clock on Independence Hall

Baseball Park

Philadelphia Museum of Art

This is where Silvester Stallone ran up the steps in Rocky.

The burial place of Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin's headstone

No visit is complete without calling on Betsy.

Elfreth's Alley - One of my favorite attractions.

This is a famous old church - I can't recall the name.
Everything in the city is famous and old - it can get confusing!

Graffiti program in Philadelphia.
Instead of locking up young graffiti artists they give them an opportunity to study art and create wonderful public art while getting an education.

The murals are seen throughout the city.

The Reading Terminal Market
A wonderful place to visit. Great place to eat and shop.
